At least you have a nice car to bridge the gap. I traded early once and missed a full summer that I could never get back. Thought I would save money to trade early and learned the hard way- never worth it unless you have another toy to play with
Agree - I hate pretrading but the dealer was keen to get the value locked in before the end of the season. It made me like the 570 a little more having it as a backup.
Great pics everyone- nice to see the variances in terrain and backdrops. Love the bridge pics and the Easter egg-colored lineup.
I carried this hitchhiker along recently and realized it was there during my post-drive "look under and see if any fluids are pouring out" routine. It reminded me of opening the hood of my 63SWC for Bloomington judging to find a hand-mirror that I had left when making a headlight adjustment.....
My 15yo enjoying some seat time as well. (I'm betting < 3 reply posts before someone points out the TPMS warning light.....)
I hope everyone has had a wonderful and safe weekend. Beautiful skies here today- perfect Porsche weather!
An '86 Turbo came by for a visit today. In this car in about 1988 I learned to drive a manual transmission. Couple of loops around a parking lot and then dad said "let's go" and up the highway we went.... The current owner had never been behind the wheel of a GT3 or Turbo S and he had a blast during our afternoon drive.
Drove this past Saturday from Pittsburgh to Harrisburg and back
on the way down 6 MT golf R
on the way back DSG golf R
you can have fun in these little things
I enjoyed an hour or so of driving today before a large storm rolled into the area. The lighting was not good for typical photos, so I played around a bit with effects and filters. Parked in front of the oldest restaurant in MS. This place closed down/changed hands a decade or so ago and on the way out, the previous owners sold everything, including the neon sign seen in the pic. I owned it for a while but sold it back to the new owners once they became established.
We have a steam-driven machine museum in town; nice contrast of machinery.

Reason: pic issues

Absolutely! Time is the one commodity you can never get back. Enjoy every minute. If one can afford the price, MSRP or with a premium, consider it paying for another month or another year of enjoyment and joy. That is priceless.
I noticed the pic glitch yesterday when I was adding to the thread. I blamed it on the passing storm/network issues but maybe there is more to it.
Funny thing is that each time I access this thread, the pics that display in my most recent post (prior to this one) change; the ones that displayed the time before may become X's and vice versa....
Oh well.
Cool pic along the dam and I like that there is a van in the driving crew. Need to paint it up like A-Team or the Mystery Machine.
