if you just look at the front of trailers in the paddock, you'll see what all your car is collecting without the guard.

If I were to go open, it would be either a full custom aluminum, or futura. Enclosed, would be an intech, until I got to semi or pro-sumer level, and would go KY, T&E or Featherlite.

Ask mooty or trackcar - you can vary your purchase +/- 10% from mooty/trackcar comments. / end thread.

They are supposed to call me today. They said they had them in stock in Austin (I'm in Houston), so we'll see.

I found a local dealer who has the tandem models in stock. I will most likely be buying one as well. All ancillary parts are bought separately.....ouch

I added them to my order on the website and paid a "deposit." Are you getting the extra tire? I hope I can go pick mine up in Austin next week.

I will be ordering straps, stone guard, and winch with remote. I should buy the extra tire though. I will most likely be picking mine up

A couple of people have PM'd me on the Futura trailers. They have them in stock in Austin.

Texas Low Loaders - Desiree or Grant
11904 Jess DriveAustin TX 78737
512-947-8538.

I spoke to them today and Grant has a 996 cup car he said will load with use of a 18 inch 2x4 without scraping the bumper.

I'll take a video of loading my 991 cup car after I pick up the trailer. My trailer should be ready next week.

Grant told me there is a newer tire rack that is improved that I'm going to bolt on in April after they are shipped from New Zealand.

correct, I saw grant at the PCA race.

New tire rack is much better, and at PRI they said they are working on a soft enclosure, which can be driven with on the highway to add on to open trailer. the only thing I am not sold on is their tire strap system.

I also have a Kwik Load tilting trailer and it is the easiest trailer I've seen and doesn't have any air bladders to fail. https://www.kwikload.com/. I pull it with a Suburban but my business partner borrows it on occasion and pulls it and his GT3 with a Cayenne Turbo with no effort.

I have had one of these 8216 aluma tilt trailer-weighs 1100lbs for easy towing, have no issues loading race cars, an AMG black series and a Cayman R, rarely even need the race ramps.
