And this isn't even the RS.....but for me, the 6MT is driving nirvana. It's a better experience than my previous 7.1 RS, and I never driven a better NA motor than this. The car is crazy fast in 6MT or PDK.
They did forget that 6MT has a launch mode. They must have not ready the manual. Depress clutch, mash the gas, revs to 5K, and drop clutch. Presto.
Also, Jethro's comments about the 6MT turn-in and chassis were interesting compared to the PDK. It very much is inline with previous comments about how the 6MT is more lively. It's actually more like a 911, than the PDK car, in terms of how the chassis behaves and experience.

Who said the above? Was it the consensus or did Randy, Johnny or Jethro say it?
So happy to hear this. I’ve heard of three GT-R vs .2 GT3 reviews. Motor Trend and Top Gear crowned the new GT3. The third magazine, title I do not recall, gave them a tie.
Of note, Harris did pick the 991.1 RS over the GT-R as well.
I personally would love to have a GT-R. I ain’t trading my GT3 for it though!

I did the same. Worth watching. I couldn't figure out if they used launch control on the GT3 6MT. Obviously slower 0-60 vs the PDK but the hot lap was pretty close.
