I tried to give the same money to the Porsche dealer, I swear I did, for their turbo car. Maybe If I get the Pista I will drive that over to pick up my 2RS deposit.

i can certainly see going back if you had a Speciale. But not the regular 458. And the 991 RS is faster than the 458 if I want a good NA engine experience.

Hopefully this car will be a placeholder for the Pista. Will know soon.

I think you were at Smokies in 2016 if I recall correctly. Fell in love with that RY RS and the way you configed it with the silver wheels, uprights and platinum stitching.

Oh, and nice F car, too.

I'm jumping over. Tired of the allocation shenanigans. Went to put money down on a Performante, sat in the car, turns out I don'f fit height wise. Looking at a 488 or 720S right now, those are the contenders.

And, for the blissful Fiat crowd, Ferrari split from Fiat in January of 2016. They are listed as RACE on the NYSE.

Good news is Ferrari doesn't sell sports cars as a side business.

Was in similar situation. In my case, 720 looks and McLaren reliability rep scared me off. Performante was too small for my height and seat position. 488 was the easy winner.

BTW, if you are thinking about the 488 Spider, beware the low roofline.
