Default LA Driving

Hey guys, Im in Los Angeles for the next few days and was seeing what the locals recommend for driving and or places to visit. Don't have the Porsche's with me but rented a stingray for the week. Already drove Angeles crest and Malibu Canyon, some of the best roads I've ever driven.
Any input appreciated

download the Porsche GTS Communities app.

Also, check out the app called Turo - you could rent a bunch of very fun cars

Big Tujunga Canyon Rd from Sunland up to Angeles Crest highway. Will not regret it.

Here is a "from to" address for google maps.
From
12592-12598 Big Tujunga Canyon Rd, Tujunga, CA 91042
To
Clear Creek Information Center, Angeles Crest Hwy, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011

The holy grail is close. Highway 23 - 126 - 150 - 33 to Lockwood Valley Rd and then back. Some of the best roads on earth. Go early.

Agreed...the restaurant at PEC LA is very good.

Malibu canyon to mulholland drive to decker canyon is my favorite run. Drops you on PCH in Malibu.

On the contrary, I think the food at Restaurant 917 is dreadful... Restaurant 356 is pretty good, however

I have eaten at 917 twice...both meals were excellent. Maybe you caught them on a bad day.

Will have to try 356 next time in Atlanta.

To OP...Nobu Malibu, Il Pastaio, Wolfgang Steakhouse.

Thanks for all the suggestions and I did end up driving a lot of great roads that I can't remember all the names , but they were all fantastic and almost empty
Put 800 miles on sting ray in 4 1/2 days, and for the most part sting ray was good but not close to a Porsche car
Food was also great and I did try different ethnic foods
bottom line : loved the area to the extent that I am going to make a reasonable effort to move to southern California within couple of years ,
next visit will do Turo rental and try different cars
I picked the sting ray because it was the only unlimited mileage available from Hertz exotic collection , but they do have a bunch of nice cars to chose from
