Hi Guys, need a little help and guidance on this one. I have my GT3 order stuck in V260 for over a month and a half. I finally called PCNA and asked them what was holding the car up as initial delivery was for for 3/15 and as of now it's showing just entering the body shop. But what is strange is that later that day I get an email from the PCNA customer service rep with a VIN #, how can the car already have a VIN # when it's just entering the body shop. The car has is not a CXX or a PTS. It's a SB with a manual. Could it be because it's a discontinued color ?. Cars are coming in a month early and yet mine is delayed by 2 months. Why the delay, no one can seem to give me any answers. Below is the email from the rep. Any thoughts or ideas ?.
911 GT3 VIN: WP0AC2A92JS175537 right now it is in the Body Shop; still has the production ending 3/9/2018; which it will be delivered to the port of Emden on 3/16/2018; existing the port of Emden on 3/30/2018; arriving at the port of Davisville on 4/13/2018. Subject to change.

Ive been told the information on the Porsche system is not always super accurate. Cars have been known to turn up at the dealership stateside when the system still shows it;s awaiting a boat at Emden!

Hey Sam. Mines been stuck in V260 too since early February and the only thing they could tell me is that the PTS cars are in a different section from the other GT3's. I'm really hoping mines is already on a ship though; that would be a nice surprise!!

as a fellow Porsche-file, I am sorry! I would find out who the sales manager is and harass them.
Definitely order. That's the beauty of Porsche - pay for what you want, don't pay for extraneous items. That being said, please PM if you ever need anything Porsche related.

Damn, sorry to hear you are also in the same prison. Is yours a PTS car or a CXX.

I find this all facinating as I am an inherently patient person. If my car was still unbuilt or indoors somewhere safe it would not bother me. In fact, I don’t care so much when I got a car, just that I got one (I told my dealer to give me whatever allocation that I did not care if I got the last one off the line) and now I am being punished for getting an early touring build.
Regardless, I would not worry as I said, just chill out, turn some wrenches on what you already own, and relax. A few weeks (or months in my case) won’t matter in the long term.
