Late last year we had the pleasure of a repeat GT3 owner reach out to us for a new GT3 project. We were given the specifics and what stood out the most....Miami Blue was the PTS color.
Here's her journey at the asylum.
Paint Correction Process
She arrived safe and sound and after a proper wash and decontamination, she was in our polishing room where the usual factory imperfections were revealed

![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0133-web900.jpg)
Factory sand marks removal process
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0141-web900.jpg)
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0142-web900.jpg)

![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0140-web900.jpg)
Once paint correction is complete, vehicle gets a VERY thorough wash to remove all polishing dust in preparation for clear bra installation

Clear bra installation Process
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0239-web900.jpg)
Tow hook cut-out is NOT pre-cut. We want to hand-trim this area for a precise fit and finish
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0238-web900.jpg)
Bottom spoiler lip removed for seamless edge wrap. The more edges that are wrapped inside seams, the more coverage and it also protects for more time since no exposed edges get dirt in them
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0241-web900.jpg)
Bumper near completion. Edges wrapped, ready to be hand-trimmed for a tailored and finished look
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0250-web900.jpg)
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0242-web900.jpg)
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0247-web900.jpg)
Only pre-cut area of bumper left behind since the software allows for precise round cut-out. It's up to the installer to now install correctly and symmetrically
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0245-web900.jpg)
Corners wrapped with no visible edge or seam
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0246-web900.jpg)
![](http://www.glisteningperfection.com/WebForumPics/SS991.2GT3/IMG_0256-web900.jpg)
Nearly entire pattern is extended for maximum coverage. Almost a near-custom installation. Maximum protection and best overall aesthetics

Moe - looks awesome, love your attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. Can't wait to take my .2 GT3 to your shop for the full monty.
Had some questions:
- Which brand for clear bra was chosen and why if I might ask?
- This seemed like the recommended front clip + rockers wrap vs. full car?

This project was done with Suntek PPF Ultra. We originally used 3M Pro v.4 because of the 5-year chip warranty.
We had a bad batch and had to replace the hood and fenders with Suntek, and the bumper, rockers, and headlights were 3M.
This client opted for the full front and extended rockers. On a GT3, that's bare minimum we recommend.
If you want a uniform look, added protection, and self-healing swirl-free finish ALL the time, do a full wrap. It's more $$$$, but well-worth the peace of mind if you find the previous attributes I listed of value

That is some very good work.
The only thing I opted not to wrap was the headlights due to possible delamination. I would be interested if you have had any issues if you need to take the Film off/replace for any reason

We've done hundreds of 991 headlights, no delamination. We've even removed film from a few years ago as well, not an issue.

Moe has done both of my GT3's. The first one was white, and looked AMAZING..but this one? The Miami Blue paint was literally TRANSFORMED...the pictures really do not do the paint justice, as nice as they are. The color, and depth, and richness is astonishing....
Moe is honest and thorough and meticulous and just the BEST at what he does. AND...he's a great guy who I consider a friend...
If you have an appointment coming up you will not be disappointed!
