Some updates !
3200km now ! Loving it and eventually got used to the pedals for heel-and-toe and got rid of the Sport mode so it's basically...perfect.
Considering a Manthey Racing set up ( based on original parts ) for more track use.
Also:
1) that picture with that perfectly spec'ed Caterham 485S isn't that great but driving around together made me realize that even if I could afford a GT2RS, I'd stick with a manual GT3 and add a Caterham for track / extreme use.
What do you think? Cheaper combo and one road car + one track tool instead of a car that's too fast and not engaging enough on the road and too expensive to track.
2) the last picture from the post isn't great either but it shows pretty clearly how the color changes depending if it's lit or in the shade. Definetely a huge fan of it and couldn't think of any other color I'd be happier with.
It doesn't suit RS cars IMO as they're too track focused but GT3 is polyvalent enough to pretend being classy...sometimes.
I have seen a a couple of cars with this same carbon/alcantara shift **** and im wondering is this original piece from porsche? i just cant find it anywhere. if you would happend to have part no. or anything, would be a great help.
btw love the colour, would have gone for the same with ceramics and 4 ways but further delay due to pts might have pushed me to arkham asylum.

It's a CXX part. Never seen it anywhere either as it's not even the same as the 911R shift ****.
I actually met someone from CXX during the IAA Francfort autoshow and he kindly told me there was no CXX brochure or so and that I should tell him what I want, then he'd send me a quote and tell me wether it's possible or not.
I told him I'd like to avoid aluminum as much as possible as my car is kind of stealth and dark so he offered me the opportunity of getting that part.
By the way...I've seen that later after delivery on another .2 GT3 ( @killsbugsfast ). The only obvious light parts inside my car are the inside door handles that I'd like to replace with those straps.
Any idea if there's any chance to order them aftermarket?
