Chalk with silver vs. sat platinum wheels
#16
To my eye chalk looks good with the silver, titanium, and black wheels. I really think it helps to have another aspect of the car to accentuate the wheel color or caliper color (i.e. the yellow above which looks incredible). I think the black door handles with the black wheels look drop dead gorgeous. And it will look even better in my garage Saturday.

Chalk looks really good under many kinds of light except when it looks beige. There’s a reason we see few beige cars on the road, unless it’s a 90s Buick tooling around near a retirement community.

I see pictures like those of Marker1 above with a beautiful blue sky and it makes me feel I've wasted my life living in Illinois. Irrelevant to the original post, I know.

Just an FYI in case you weren’t aware, PCCBs are Speed Yellow while the current yellow belts and stitching are Racing Yellow. Just want to make sure you knew in case you are trying to color match details.

Here's mine - Satin Platinum wheels. Sunny day but my driveway is in the shade. I love the color and think the Platinum wheels are a nice alternative to black - they provide good contrast against the Chalk, the tire, and the brake caliper.

Thanks sgnl05 . Yes I did know they were different but forget that even the pccb and belts are different. I just think Signal is such deeper looking yellow, so the ocd in me is going to repaint the callipers signal yellow actually. The seat belt I am going to leave as Racing yellow. Inside running chalk piping so no yellow stitch.

Very nice! Any more pics? Side profile with no lift up maybe. I have a chalk on order with still time to change it... currently have the black wheel's spec'd but this looks better than I thought it would.
