In the grand scheme of things this is a first world problem and not a big deal of course, he still got his car and he will still enjoy it for many years I'm sure. But I still believe if you ordered a car, placed a deposit and/or signed a contract then that car should be yours. It shouldn't be lent out or used for any events without your consent.

Hey, I really feel for you, that is unquestionably no way to be treated when you purchase a new car let alone a GT3
you have written a very eloquent story, I am sure you have specific facts and evidence to avoid both confusion and being undermined if there is a debate
I’d forget lawyers, too slow, too expensive and I suspect enough to detract from owning and loving your GT3, which you should very much do.
id write a well constructed letter to Porsche headquarters making the points particularly how it made you feel. I’d then speak to the press about an article being careful about putting yourself in a compromised position
i thiink some compensation for the seats is in order if that cannot be resolved and I think you need an apology from Porsche themselves with something that underpins this. They spend a lot of money on advertising, be nice if they turned this sad story into a happy one. Money well spent I’d say
