Hey Rob. Could be something as simple as bad gas. Or of course....something bigger. Did you still run it to 9k? Typically the high revs set off the sensors when the cam lobes were wearing.
I wouldn't waste the money swapping the plugs, but maybe take a look at them to see if they are fouling.

Yeah, good point, it could be bad gas. But something is defnitely up, so we’ll see. Plugs are due so that was planned as part of the annual service. I will do the plugs, oil change and filters, and then see what happens. What started as a hesitation / bog has now morphed into something much more serious, and this was over the past 2-3 months. But the last 3 times out the car is not the same. Two weeks ago i floored it at around 30 mph in 4th gear and it wouldn’t even kick down. Did something similar yesterday. When i floor it it seems like it is lagging, then comes on, but not stronge. I did hit 9k a few times, and no messages. If the plugs, filters and new gas don’t help i will take it to the dealer.
I hear there's a shortage of plugs. Might be a couple of months.
Even the Bosch cross-referenced plug (without Porsche label)? Or maybe the Bosch are out of stock, but you can find the Porsche ones (for much higher price)?

Grant, I got the Bosch #ZGR5NQE plugs from Pelican. They were in stock a few weeks ago. I sort of thought Alan was joking but maybe not!
Rob,
i love that you’re using your GT3 to the max. My incoming .2 GT3 is a car I expect to keep for 15-20 years. I plan to put well over 6 digits on her odometer.

Nice! That is the attitude. You can't take it with you!
