I've been trying to decide what wheel/tire/brake setup to use on track with my 991.2 GT3. Now that I've been running R7s on my Cayman, it will be hard to ever go back to a street tire. I recalled that Hoosier was supposed to be coming out with their R7 in the stock GT3 sizes this year. Sure enough, multiple sites are now taking orders for these (I placed an order with TireRack). They can't confirm the exact dates when they will be available, but being able to place a pre-order is certainly a good sign. I still have a set of forged 20" OZ track wheels from my old GT3, so that has pretty much sealed the deal for me. Sticking with 20" will allow me to try the ST CCBs with a bit more caliper clearance than a 19" setup. I won't be able to go as wide in the front, but I don't think I'll notice that given the increased grip of the R7s. This should be a fun, if somewhat expensive experiment.
