Hi All,
I have owned my 991.2 gt3 since October, and in all that time every time I use the car I always receive at least 1 call per day from the control centre asking if I was OK as they had received a signal that the air bag/s have been deployed!
Has anyone else had this issue, as Porsche say it's not their equipment, and the tracker company say its not them, and It's getting a little tiresome! If someone has a fix that would be awesome?
Cheers, Richie.

It is a known issue most of the cars in the UK have it. Porsche are working on a software fix but in the mean time the emergency call function can be turned off by vodafone(UK supplier) so that they are ignored. In the UK though they need to be asked by Porsche and I had to sign to say I knew it wasn't working..
It is a POrsche software fault saying the airbags have triggered.

Hi,
Same Issue here in france since the delivery of the car on december 2017.
We asked for it's inactivation and after a few mails exchanges with porsche and vodafone, have been reimbursed for the full cost of this service which obviously does not work well.
Seems not to be that easy to fix by porsche considering the fact that the problem has been known for a while already.

Thank you! at least it's not only mine, I have also disconnected the emergency calls but I need the tracker function to comply with my insurance...
Also have a macan using the same system for 2+ years and no issues! Must be a GT3 problem, Lets hope they get it sorted soon ;o)
Cheers, Richie.
