Default Planned v Expected?

Wifey and I have had a talk and can't agree- what is your experience with the Planned v Expected dates listed on the vehicle order tracking sheet? I tried to search earlier, but my search skills were lacking. I am mostly concerned w the end of the build and the day it exits from my local port...

ps- damn y'all- 94 views and no one has some quick insight for me here?! I mean, I know that "it will get here when it gets here", but it would be nice to follow along, and to be able to plan around the cars arrival...

There is Planned, there is Expected and there is Actual. You are missing the Actual column, which is the most important. If the car gets delayed in production, like mine did, your planned dates won't change, but the expected dates will be pushed forward. Planned and expected are just estimates, until the actual thing happens and the column populates. Hope this helps.

here is an example

Thanks, I didn't realize there was an "actual" column- I'll have to go bother my SA for a new printout!

Keep in mind all the expected dates are always on a Friday. It reality it means that status is expected sometime in the week leading up to that Friday

Mine came in about 3 weeks early. I take delivery tomorrow and it was supposed to be in early February (and mine has been at the dealer for 10 days while arrangements for transportation, logistics, etc. were being sorted out (not really in a hurry in winter-Michigan!). So...likely sooner vs. later

Looks like your car is scheduled to sit at Emden port for close to a month. Mine sat there for exactly 30 days...so frustrating! My understanding is the boats to Benicia only leave once a month. Then, my boat stopped in Panama, San Diego, and Port Hueneme (Oxnard). The good news is, once it gets to Benicia, they are trucked out very quickly.
