I have an X5M with Conti's DWS for the snow and even with 575 Hp it still handled it as good as my wife's
Subaru. And last year was the winter from hell for the Boise area, we had almost 6 feet of snow compared
to 6 inches this year which is much more like normal. I went out to check on my elderly inlaws last
year right after 16 inches and the Bimmer just plowed right through it.
Interestingly my GT3 showed up JUST BEFORE
that 6" of snow showed up.

Any car can handle snow with the right tires. The problem by us are the pot holes large enough to swallow small suv’s and the salt that will corrode everything that it touches.... oh the joys of winter!
