Default What can you fit behind the buckets?

I'm curious as to how useful the area behind the seats is. I won't have a cage in mine at least for a year or two.

How far can you pull the buckets forward to fit things back there? I feel like I've been spoiled by my Boxster and the size/width of the trunk on it. I can fit my camping chair, cooler, helmet, shoes back there and have room to spare without even opening the frunk.

It seems to me there's plenty of room in the back of the GT3... but actually getting to it will be a problem. Can you make a 2 foot wide opening between the seat back and the door opening? What's the most room you get when you slide the seat all the way forward? Helmet bag? Tennis ball? Sheet of newsprint?

plenty of room on the .1s I figure .2s will be just as roomy. You can def fit your golf clubs back there and couple skinny hookers LOL

Did the .1 have the folding seat backs that are now only available in Europe or something? If you're talking about the fixed LWB's, then that's very encouraging!! If I can fit a golf bag, I can fit pretty much anything I might reasonably want to.

2 feet is a stretch - maybe someone can measure it for us. It's workable for sure, but definitely not as easy as with folding seats. Golf clubs can work but sort of a pita unless you have a smaller sized bag

I've fit a lot back there, best to use soft sided luggage like duffels to get the most use of it. Pull one seat all the way forward and up and the other all the way back. You can fit pretty big bags between the gap.

Still wish we got the folders here...

Golf clubs AND hookers? Or is it an AND/OR situation? What about no clubs and 3 skinny plus flexible? Sometimes 2 hookers are just not enough. It's harder to choreograph, but it's an extra person to hold the GoPro.

You can get a lot back there.
Just put the passenger seat all the way forward and all the way up for max access. Raising the seat adds a couple more inches of room.

I saw a guy in a YouTube video put a golf bag in the back behind the fixed the buckets. Had to slide them all the way forward to do so. It may have been a .1 but I assume what works in a .1 will work in a .2.

There is a lot of room back there, just take your time packing in soft bags.

Aha!! I hadn't thought of this! So with the proper arrangement, you can fit stuff between the seats that you otherwise wouldn't be able to fit behind them through the door?

I know the space is there and could swallow a huge volume of soft squishy bags.

I really just want my camping chair back there for the track. It's not huge... but it's not the smaller variety either. It's got a little roof over it. Full sized cooler is probably out of the question and destined for the frunk.

Found one of everything we stufffed in the car for a 10 day trip. Two hard bags went in the frunk and the rest was behind the seat. Wife didn't think we could do it especially with it being cold in Germany during October but we did. Best trip ever too!

You'd be surprised. You can fit a decent amount behind the buckets. I usually have my helmet bag in it. But I've taken long road trips with a duffle, helmet bag, pillows, blanket, portable chair, etc. in the back.

I used Seth and Peters pics as guide for me and it worked perfectly. Plenty of room.

that's how much we fit into the 911R. The black carfit suitcase goes in the front trunk, but rest went behind the seats.

Still got more room to fit even more back there
