ARE THE NA's REALLY ENDING IN '19

Thank you!! I did my 458 Speciale in Grigio Ferro (a Ferrari Historic Color) so wanted to have that iconic Rosso Corsa for the Italia. These high compression ratio NA cars are the last of a great breed, and I have built my collection with that in mind. I'll never buy a turbo car, so very soon, my collection will be complete!

Stunning car
this is a Grey that would also suit perfectly a 991

Yawn. Porsche will build it. You will love it.
Driven in several bbi cars eith well done turbos and high rev motors and well, they can be awesome with near Na throttle linearity.

Other than the 488, every single turbo on the planet has noticeable lag, at least noticeable to me, and I've driven countless versions, factory, aftermarket, etc, including BBI. And none of them sound nearly as good as NA.
When GT cars stop being NA, is when I stop purchasing them new.

"are the N/A really ending in '19".......I believe so.......My understanding is that the factory or part of in Stuttgart is being knocked down and rebuilt, so all Stuttgart production ( 911 derivatives) will stop for a period of 6 months...( Apr - Sept). To make way for integrated Hybrid and Mission E platform cars... thus future proofing the product......so smaller capacity turbo charged and even hybrid GT3's seem the future (2019 onwards) of the Porsche product.....so hang onto those N/A engine manual shift cars.......this is why the 991.2 GT3 is a short production run (end of March 18) and allocations scarce and why there is no PTS for the UK.......I'm also led to believe there may not be a 991.2 GT3 RS although having said that I have also heard there maybe a short run after Sept 18 for a few months but it will be PDK only

I have actually had fewer problems with the Fiat - as in zero - than I have had with the newer Porsches. Was surprising to me, given my old Ferrari ownership history.
Just as relevant to to the discussion - Ferrari did an amazing job with "tuning" the Speciale driving experience - throttle response, intake/exhaust sounds, the mechanical racket, even the nanny settings. There are now many faster cars, including the 488, but once behind the wheel of the Speciale, I find VMAX, hp, the paper stuff, all irrelevant to enjoying the drive. A sense of occasion every time.

hybrids with electric torque fill are entirely separate class, compared to straight turbo cars, who can't hide their lag, not from me.
I've driven every supercar made for the past 15 years, and everything in between. however, hypercars are a different level. Driven a 918 on the track, but not a la ferrari or P1.
