Don't do Toe out in front. Not necessary.

F - 2.7
R -2.3

Great balance. Very limited understeer

Good tire wear.

So very thankful for any advice what to do to make it not so understeer. My raceprof recommends more camber and a slight (2mm total) Toe Out.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS??????
Easiest (and free) thing is to start with swaybars. I like rear full stiff rear and front in middle. If you want to be even more towards oversteer, you can soften front bar too.

This. I tightened up the rear sway to stiff last night and today on track the low speed understeer is noticeably reduced.

Same here, stiffen the rear sway bar, increase negative camber at least up front (I am at -2.8 front -2.4 rear). Very balanced car at that point

Thanks for this info Wind911, very helpful.
When I was ordering tires for my new 19” track wheels to go on my 991.1 GT3 I noticed that Hoosier lists the 325/30/19 and the 345/30/19 at 26.8” dia.
This differs from your own measurements. Do you know why? Have you had a chance to measure the 345?
Are you aware of anyone that has tried this out?

Lawrence

I have not tried 345-30/19 on my .2 GT3. The numbers in my table are just calculated from the published sizing info not from real world measuring. Hoosiers sometimes has deviations on the actual size from the published size so it's hard to say. I don't think stock GT3 can fit 295/345 combo without rubbing. Hope this helps.

I am running R7's 345/30/19 rear and 265 fronts. The 345's rubbed the fender on the drivers side ever so slightly, mostly because of the weight of the driver on that side. I raised the ride height a few clicks in the rear and that solved it. (the riased ride height was very small and resulted in No change in driving dynamics best I can tell).

Very helpful thanks. I'm thinking that Hoosier may have updated their published info.
I'm going to try the 265/325 combo and see how we go.

Very interesting thanks. I'm going to try the 265/325 combo and see how that works out but after that I'm going to try the 345 rear.
What rear camber settings are you running?

I went with -2.5 front and rear. 3mm toe out front, 0.5mm toe in on rear.

looking to copy this set up , do I need to purchase front and rear shims to get there or is it adjustable from the factory to get that camber ?

If if I need to purchase shims what size from tarret ? And do I need anything else before brining back to the dealer

also the car will be 80% track 20 % road , is this set up ok for that type of usage? running R7 on the track and sport cup2s for the street

My car felt very neutral on stock alignment, but I went with an aggressive alignment to address tire wear. I ended up at -2.7 front and -2.4 rear, 0 toe front, 0.25" of total toe rear, and stock front caster. Unfortunately the car now feels more numb on turn-in, and a bit over-steery mid turn. Need to mess with the sway settings I suppose... if tire wear doesn't improve dramatically, I may go back to stock alignment.

You can get there with shims, but I would recommend getting the Tarrett camber plates. The shims widen the front track and changed caster - both of which caused tires to rub the inner fender lining. I ran 19's no problem by shimming the front to get to -2.8. But, when I put OEM 20's back on, the rub was to significant. So I went to the Tarrett Camber Plates (Race design).

I do exactly as you do - about 80 percent track and 20 percent street. I think the set up is perfect so far. I also run R7's on track (with 19 inch forgeline) and cup 2's on road

Hmmm, I dont have any oversteer really. And happy with turn in. But, I am running R7's on 19 inch wheels. Running full stiff rear sway and middle up front. Car is very balanced right now, at least for my driving style......
