Picked up my touring today and unfortunately, hit rain that was not forecasted. Fortunately, it was dry around home. Here're some initial impressions after a along, exhausting day (got up at 4:00 to get some work done):
- as stated previously, I love White more than expected. The car looks so much better in person
- love the LWB's, they are very comfortable and fit me well
- PCCB's already squeak a little...doesn't bother me
- engine sound from inside reminds me of air cooled 911's - I like that
- noise at freeway speeds was much less than expected. Noise was only somewhat high on rough/old asphalt
- standard radio is much better then expected. Glad I didn't spend the money on Bose
- as noted many times, very difficult to stay under 4,000 RPM
- I love how stealthy the touring is
- can't wait to drive the car tomorrow
- the car is spectacular and seems to get better with every mile

Loving the black 'Porsche' lettering on the back btw, it gives a bit more interesting contrast. Congrats!

Hi Chris, whats your thoughts on the corduroy seat centres ? Im liking them more from a looks perspective at least...
PS ever thought about a white seat belt ?

Chris, looks gorgeous in white with silver trim/wheels! The Touring interior looks much better than the non-touring.
Oldmxnut, white seat-belts would be a mistake, IMO. I prefer black belts in general but white would be especially wrong both from contrast perspective (too strong) and keeping them white/clean.

+1 on the touring interior being better then non touring.

If car has PCCBS then yellow belts is best option
Since when does Porsche offer white belts? I was under the impression that they offer red, yellow, silver, miami blue and regular black for the GT3 only

PCCB’s squeal will improve over time (couple thousand miles).

Some answers and comments:
- My color is plain White, with Satin Aluminum wheels
- I love the seat material, seams softer and more grippy than striped version
- White seat belts sound interesting (if they were available), but I like the my "basic" interior...sort of old school
- good to hear about brake squeal, although a little is sorta race car cool
- I'll take some more photos today and include the front

Beautiful car. While people have differing experiences , the PCCBs on my 991.1 still squeal after 12,000 miles. I've had to do a kind of bedding in procedure a few times. I do find though that after the wheel area is washed the squealing goes away....until it reappears 😆

There’s a brake bedding procedure that eliminates the noise. I did every time I installed new pads and never had noise in my PCCBs.
