You took the 12k hit when you drove the gts off the lot. The loss wil he realized when you sell whether its now or down the road. Plus, the gt3 should depreciate less (if at all) compared to the gts over the next year or two so the dealer is actually helping you minimize your depreciation hit on the gts
id do it as long as you can spec the car.

But would have trade in my 2 week old 2017 GTS for 115K, paid 127K, sticker was 141,300. loss of 12K in 2 weeks but will get an allocation with a build date in Jan, delivery march end. what do guys think ?, Is this a no brainer. The build of the GT3 is Sapphire Blue with MT, 18 way seats black PDLS are the major spends with seat belts and chrono clock in red also painted inside trim. The GTS I have is in Miami Blue with PDCC rear axel, black PDLS. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks guys. Sam

You already lost the money on the GTS when you drove it off the lot.
Even if you don't want to look at it that way; a 12k ADM right now is a pretty good deal.
The GT3 is by far the better car for holding long-term value.
My only hesitation would be if the options on the GT3 aren't the options you'd be happy with.

Let me help confuse you. If you go to the RL 991 GTS section and ask about this, they'll tell why the GTS is actually a better overall car and more livable than the GT3, plus losing $12K just like that isn't smart ...
The cars are what they are. Try to make an accurate comparison of them, then assess your situation in order to decide.

The dealer is actually being pretty fair on what they are offering you on your GTS. It is a used car. They need to make a profit. But here's the thing......if you really loved the GTS, this offer wouldn't even be tempting you or even a consideration. The GTS can easily be daily driven..the GT3 less so. If you aren't planning to have this car as your daily driver, to me GT3 all the way.
