I’m seeing “regular “ Speedsters go for 50K over + or - 10k. Speedsters with Heritage or PTS are getting over 100k.

Your dealer isn't lying. I know of a regular Speedster that sold for 150k over and a heritage one sold for 185k over in the LA area.

Having said that, I think those two deals I mentioned are the outliers, where most of the regular Speedsters deals I know are trading at 50-75k over across the board.

My local dealer wants $200k for heritage package! He's telling me that other dealers in the area have sold the heritage at $200k over.

I'm in Los Angeles.

It's my understanding that Heritage car are somewhat limited. If you must have one, then it's up to you. However, I believe non-Heritage cars are readily available at +$50K-$60k. I still think, if you wait, there are enough cars, unsold to end users, that will they be at MSRP. I paid MSRP. A good relationship with your dealer is key. I am not a 918 VIP but have a long relationship with Porsche and my dealer.

This is the frustrating part for me. I've been a loyal customer for the past 10 years. In the last 3 years alone, I have purchased 6 cars from them and use them for service.

Firstly you will need winter tires for late November delivery. Weather in Germany is totally unpredictable at that time and getting to Southern Europe where weather is better will mean driving over mountains unless you head yo the coast and follow it south. In France and Italy you need to find safe uinbdoor parking because street side parking can easily result in scratches and dings. For these reasons I decided agains ED even though I plan to drive my Speedster year around in Vancouver with winter tires from October through March.

This car looks amazing in person. I love the slightly elongated shape. Gorgeous. Heritage package for me, please.

Maybe one day!

Yup, just wait until all of them are delivered by next Spring...they'll all be trading at or under MSRP. They give more than 2x more of them than the 991R. It's a rinse and repeat story, the folks that want to have the first cars will pay through the nose for them. I predict there will be many cars sitting on the stealership floors once they have all been delivered.

Same experience. I’ve got one coming, but must say, after this Speedster experience I am now not nearly as loyal. Next time will likely try elsewhere and that goes for service as well.

My Speedster Build Sheet indicates under the MTYP column...991890

I picked up a car from Auto Armour in San Diego after ceramic coating and paint correction today. They were working on a new silver Speedster with the heritage "bikini top" paint scheme. Apparently owned by the Telemundo owner (love those soap operas...). Window sticker was $317k and some change. Rumors of $200k dealer markup.

No, I believe the one you are talking about is a VIP car. The dealership is trying to sell a Guards Red for $200k.
