Trying to confuse me with this other “Barney” shade of purple ha ha. Lovely, but I couldn’t drive that to a grocery store with a straight face. Maybe if it was my RS toy!
Thanks guys ! After reflection, it seems like Brewster is just too subtle for me. Perhaps I should really have been considering a more vibrant green like BRG or Irish (I can’t even tell the difference)? Or will I still find them lacking pop ?
in the meantime, when I said I wanted some pop, Signal Yellow reemerged.... can I throw that into the mix now ...
I had a look at a new PTS Viola metallic a couple of months back. I swear the salesman ordered it after I discussed a VM GT3 with him. He wasn’t familiar with it but loved the pics I showed him. Next time I visit they have a VM GTS on the floor for sale with spotlights shining on it to show how it pops.
The outdoor 918 pic earlier in the thread is the most accurate representation IMO. In dull light it looks very dark but sunlight really lights up the edges. Love it.
I didn't think thirty year olds went to the grocery store? I thought they order everything online and have it delivered.
Now that you have Signal Yellow on your short list again, I'd go that route with the black LEDs and wheels. Can Exclusive do a SY wheel rim strip like we've seen in the Gaurds Red intro car? That would help delineate the blackness of the wheel and tire.
signal yellow. saw one in Germany and the color and saturation just blew me away how pretty it is. and this is from someone who hates yellow cars. these are pics I took in the factory museum.
Don’t like Brewster (no offense to those that do). It’s too “British”
Too many Signal Yellow around - it’s a pretty color but more common.
Viola changes personality with the light.
You NEVER see them around (at least I don’t)
Different enough to be unique
Cool enough to be memorable
Still subtle enough and not overly crazy - I would think resale would be unaffected (but just personal opinion)
Viper Green is a gorgeous color, lots of history but I’ve seen it on several older 911’s. Too common.
Viper Green metallic is awesome but I don’t think it’s an approved PTS color
