Did any of the delivered 991.2 GT3's come with Michelin in the US? It seems many have mentioned that theirs came with Dunlops.
It seems that one of the many positive attributes of the 991.2 vs. 991.1 GT3 was the upgraded Michelin tire.

When I picked up my GT3 RS it came with Dunlop tires. When I asked the dealer why, they said they have no control over the tires that come from the factory. Asking around I learned that Michelin has been unable to meet the demand... Surprise! So Porsche went to Dunlop to fill the gap. It's a good tire, but after chewing through a set rather quickly, I put on the Michelin PS cups. I feel the PS cups are the superior tire for the car. There's just so much data between Michelin and Porsche. It's been said that the N2 Michelin tire that was developed for the GT2 RS was a big part of achieving the record at the ring. Makes sense.

Dunlop will be a supplier on the GT2 RS as well...

I'd take that Pepsi challenge. I found that the previous gen Dunlops had a very different character than the Michelins. They also worked better when cool but overheated more easily because of it. Quite possibly the source of the "dunlops are better street tires" comment above.

Dunlops for me, but I will have to wait for Spring next year before I get to try them on track, hopefully others in warmer climates will have track data well before then.

Michelins here... mine was fully built 9/7 (V300: 'vehicle completion') and arrived 10/17 at the dealership.
My dealer also received 2 more units on 10/27 and one had Michelins while the other had Dunlops. Both cars were built mid-Sept.
