Default Took delivery of my 991.2 GT3

Have a Cayenne S but this is my first "real" Porsche. Came from a Corvette ZO6 (C6) that I made into a race car but grew tired of constant repairs/upgrades. Brought her home this weekend and all I can say is "Wow...what a machine!" Got the call about this car about 18 months earlier than expected. Very nice surprise indeed. I'll post more details about my driving/tracking experiences once I get some miles on the car.

The car has the Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (option #603). They have dark background and the 4 dots for the daytime running lights. These look really neat when the car is approaching.

What do you mean when you say you got the call about the call 18 months earlier? Were you expecting this car in 2019??

Yeah, I put my name on the list for the new GT3 back in June. The dealer said I was #9 on the list and not to expect a car in 2018...or maybe not at all.

The person that ordered this car had to back-out of the deal last-minute and my dealer asked me if I wanted the car. The car is GT Silver with full bucket seats, PDK, and was very close to the car I would have ordered. I jumped on the car right away...car was in my garage 2 weeks after my dealer initially called me.

REALLY got lucky with this car!

Alec if you don't mind sharing, did you pay a premium on the car or was it at MSRP ? Congrats.

My dealer was very straight-forward during the process. They gave me the car at MSRP under the condition that I purchase a dealer package from them. They were very honest about it and said this package is a way for them to make a little money on the deal while allowing their customers to get their cars at MSRP.

The package included: Full vehicle in Expel, Wheel & Tire/dent/key replacement, LoJack, and Ibex. Package came to $13,000. I know the cost of this package was inflated but I didn't have a problem with this arrangement.

I think you got a good deal considering how much quicker you got the car than you expected (if at all).

Enjoy it!

Honestly, worth it. The full vehicle wrap and wheel and tire coming with it is basically a bonus.

If the car is fully wrapped in Xpel that is about $5000 right there.

I think you ended up pretty good deal. So maybe you paid $6000 ADM but that is nothing. Car looks great
