Default WTB: SEMA Passes x2

Hi,
not sure if it's ok to ask here, but I'm taking my 13 year old son to vegas thursday and friday for SEMA and did not realize it's closed to the public. Flights and hotel are booked...just need to get in!

Does anyone have a line on 2 passes i can buy? I only need thursday and friday.

Thanks!
Neil

There is enough action outside most of the day that even if you didn't get hall passes, you guys will have a good time outdoors.

The exit parade on Friday is always a good time and doesn't require a pass as it's outdoors.

I don't think kids are allowed in the exhibition unless you have special permission from SEMA directly.

You can't purchase passes, you have to work in the industry in order to register and attend. The show got so busy in recent years and practically impossible to walk the floor from Thursday afternoon on, that the organizers cut registrations for 2017. Now you need to show proof you are employed in the industry and have legitimate business there. Hopefully that will make walking the floor and actually doing business a little easier this year...

From the SEMA website-

May I bring my child to the show?
No one under the age of 16, including infants, is allowed access to the exhibits. No exceptions. Show management does not provide childcare services onsite. Use of a school issued ID is not acceptable unless it provides a date of birth.

Thanks for teh input. If i can find passes, his age shouldn't be an issue, as long as i can get the passes without showing ID. he's 5'10" and 170lbs, he definitely looks 16!
