Would you consider? Basic build + 20 K ADM
Hey guys,
Wanted to get some of your opinions...one of the local dealers in California called me up yesterday and offered me this car that will arrive in about 2-3 weeks of time.
This will be a basic build White , Lift , Full bucket, manual option,LED MSRP of 157 K + 20 K ADM. Not my first color of choice (Chalk/blue) but not sure if I can get too picky. Curious to get your thoughts, for those without a slot, would you consider this?
Thanks,
JM

Are you trading in a car? Is so do you know what they are offering for the trade?
How bad do you want the car right now? Wait another 4-6 months and you might find something closer to your spec with a similar or less ADM.

Thanks for the quick replies, no trade for me. It will be straight up purchase. Dealer seemed quite firm on ADM (especially being a California car), will see if I can get lucky. Pros for this car would be early availability (can start enjoying instead of a wait/unknown factor), cons being the options.

For me a low spec is awesome. I'd be looking at the total price MSRP+ADM not just the ADM. I got my GT4 w/ no option at all and a small ADM and was still under $90K. That was better for me than a $95K car w/ no ADM. Obviously I'd rather get options than pay the ADM, but that's not really the choice for most of us.
Long way of saying, if you like the car I think it sounds great.

Seems like a good deal. Show me an ADM $15k or less and you are showing me a sold car.
Not a lot of strippers in the first batch and it has the good stuff (LWBs, lift, 6MT).
What else does it have to get to $157k? Or is $157k including gas guzzler tax?

Thats not a bad deal. I think many more are paying ADM than admitting it. Thats a nice build. It's got the key ingredients - 6MT and Buckets and lift. I'd try for $15K ADM but I wouldn't lose the car for $5k difference you're talking about plus minus 3%....

20k is a bit steep

have fun driving it and you wont forget the extra $$$ u spent.
