A few months ago I sort of half-heartedly started calling around but gave up because of all the BS you have to put up with talking to dealers. The RS bug bit me again recently and have been looking into it again. If I can find an open allocation I'd probably jump on it depending on how bad the ADM is.

Probably true since they probably ordered the cars with a hefty ADM because the stealers spun the "limited production" tune and when they realized that ADMs were melting they walked away and left the stealer at the alter with the RS. Kinda funny if you ask me. haha

I guess at this point the only way to get an open allocation is if someone backs out before their build locks.

Just check the for sale ads here on rennlist, they aren't hard to find. even some pts cars are going for sticker or under now. if you decide you need the touring option, then just wait a little longer or pay small adm.

Well I may have found one (3RS) that's still buildable.

Yes, there are still a handful of allocations that aren't locked. I think Porsche in San Jose has one, so does a dealer in the LA area. A few in Florida. One in Colorado. And a few others. Even when a build "freezes" it doesn't really. There's still wiggle room before it gets fixed/locked.
