You didn't mention the wheels. Which wheels are those?
Thanks!
Yep, forgot to mention the wheels and a few other small items, the wheels are Satin Platinum. I also went with the Sport Chrono, standard floor mats, and smokers package. I guess I am one of the few that actually likes the clock. Not a lot of options, but I got what I had to have and stopped the bleeding on the cosmetic stuff I could do without. I am very pleased with how it turned out.
She’s home! Rhodium Silver, buckets, manual Trans, front axle lift, red belts, red steering wheel marker, fire extinguishers, ext range tank. I love it!
Love, Love Rhodium! Agreed, most underrated color. My wife said “no” to Rhodium because my 991 4S was Rhodium and she wanted me to try something else.
The pic of the front bumper really shows how this color can almost be a blueish-pearlescent in some light.
Lol, I had the same thought. Only a handful have been built in Rhodium thus far. Not sure what that says about my taste.
Haha as long as you are happy that is what matters. I like Rhodium a lot more than some of the PTS colors being picked *personally* so I think you are good!! At the end of the day a GT3 in any color is still an epic car.
Haha, I won't argue with that. I want to try a different color on my GT3 (have a GT4 in GT Silver), but every time I see pics like this, I revert back to GT Silver as my first choice.
Thank you! Live in San Antonio. Yes, Texas heat is very real and my daily is 20% tinted. I do think 80% (typically reserved for front windshield) will fit this car. Went back and looked at all the Singer and Outlaw 911s online. Each was absolutely gorgeous, and none had tint that was noticeable. Decided the same for my car.
I can always go darker later!
Agreed. I don't think these cars are meant for tint, ruins the look of the canopy.
You can get tint that blocks heat without blocking light (crystalline 70 blocks 50% of heat I think), so there's not really an excuse for dark tint. It's bad for night driving and for track visibility.
My 7th 911; 3 guards red, 1 basalt black, 1 slate gray, 1 white and the .2 in GT silver. The black accents on the new car really highlight the GT Silver. I am very pleased with the look.
