yeah I am so confused by the wheels, some of the launch photos for the touring edition makes the standard finish seem really bright and some make it seem in between Satin Aluminum and Satin Platinum. I'll have to try and see some of these in person when they arrive here.

What dealer is that? its huge?!?!?
Satin Aluminum are brighter and have a real smooth satin finish just like the Satin black. The standard wheels have a clear coat. There also look good and may suffice plus save you some $$. I probably did not help but call your dealer and maybe they have an example of the standard on the floor than can show you
Yup I was with him there and Alex started that after I left... note though that the Miami Blue has the optional Satin Aluiminum wheels since Alex stated they were standard.
They're close but the optional ones are clearly a nice satin in finish and has a different type of brilliance to it. Both are bright... Satin is shiny/sparkly (it reminds me of a glistening pearlescent finish) while the standard looks brighter IMO due to the glossy lighter silver paint. Can't go wrong with neither... I like them both so just decide if you want to spend another $1220... in the end the effect is lighter colored wheels as opposed to the black or satin platinum ones plus it also depends on your build and theme you're going for.
Here's another perspective under less lighting... but later this week I think we'll be able to get both our cars side-by-side together for some shots.
^Note.... he also has the "model designation delete" option.
Mine below at same dealership during PDI back on Oct 17th...
In these two pictures the finishing also looks the same but different than the finishing in the pictures of my last post, for bossing would you say the first two or second two reflect standard wheels more in real life?

It's tough to get good clarity pics under lower lighting... how about these for you?
My standard wheels... this one is more accurate and I took this with a better camera, not a phone pic.
And another of the Satin Aluminum.... phone pic though:
Think of shiny silver paint finish vs. a glistening satin finish.... both are bright, just different perspectives.
