I have a 991.2 GT3 Exterior in Custom Color, Non-Metallic: Signal Yellow which was a $12,832 option on the build sheet. How can I find out how many was shipped to the US?

There are no official numbers for the production of various PTS colors. Click the link to the PTS list I kept based on deliveries and tracking resales, I have about 40% of the total production delivered here in NA. So extrapolating total deliveries I have 7- meaning there are probably 15 or so total, if you split to just winged versions it’s probably 10 or 11. Not the most popular color but fairly popular compared to others. Click my link to the registry to register your car if you don’t mind. Thanks!

Thanks for doing that. The registry is new where we can definitely track your car by the last digits of the VIN. The full list has all I have found on line here in Rennlist and for sale ads. The issue is that as time has gone by many of the popular colors like yours are hard to distinguish from each other based on options without a VIN. So as cars come up for resale, often I can't tell if it's one I already have on the list. Thus the registry.

Without actual production numbers confirmed for the 992 generation, it is all speculation.
So far, unofficial estimates seem to suggest that the 992.1 6-spd manual Touring may indeed end up being in a smaller denomination than the 991 Touring (at least for the USA), though of course GT3 production can continue on into MY24.
We will have to wait and see final prod #s when formal 992.1 lifecycle EOP occurs.

I am particularly happy with my color combo sapphire blue with black trim. I’ve never seen another one like that.
My story, of how I got it is also somewhat similar to another one I read in this thread:
I had put myself on the list for a 991R, butbin the end didn’t get one (I hadn’t bought a 918;-) ).
When the 991.2 GT3 Touring was introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Fair, I immediately called a friend, who is the chairman of the importer and asked me if he could help me get one. Two days later he rang me back and told me : “You have your GT3 Touring.” The rest is history, discussing the color choice with the other family members, etc. I probably won’t sell this beautiful gem.

Assuming the US/Canada production chart is accurate as well as that there were 9500 991.2 GT3 produced :
ROW production went on from Aug 2017 to Feb. 2019, so there were approx 560 cars build a month (I doubt that a lot of cars were produced in August 2017 or in February 2019) so assuming it was 17 months full speed production.
European production stopped in June 2018 (due to regulation change), so Tourings were produced for EU during 8 months. All these are facts.
During these 8 months also ROW cars were built of which 138 US cars according to the information shown previously here.
Rate of Tourings US/Can production was around 27%. So assuming there were building between 95 and 150 Tourings a month (on a total of 560 a month GT3), we should have between 620 and 1210 EU cars, as we know 625 US/CAN cars plus ROW. So it is reasonable to say that Touring production was minimum 1500 and grand maximum 2500 cars, based on simple observation and statistics without any insider information, the months of production being what they are. So they are between 1,5 and 2,5 times more Tourings than R.
Any further information is welcomed.
