Agree, though if you go Viper and wrap the car in Xpel Stealth, you may not be far off. I'm not into wraps that alter the appearance of the paint but this may be OP's best bet, especially since I don't think bamboo and mamba are currently approved (at least they are not on the 3/28/17 list).

Ask your wife what the fashion idiom “too Matchy Matchy” means. Back in grandma’s day matching the color of your shoes, handbag, dress, lipstick, and nails were considered the height of good breading and showing a keen sense of coordination. Today that lacks any hint of edginess or personal style.
