Default Back in a GT car.

Just wanted to Introduce myself. I recently bought Haku's Lava Orange RS from Porsche of Chattanooga. Its been a few years since I owned a Porsche. I had a 2007 Cobalt Blue GT3 that I traded in on a new 2012 McLaren 12C. That car turned out to be a complete lemon. It had a faulty fuel pump on delivery. It had multiple other issues including a Cracked head that required engine out service. It was obvious to me that McLaren wasn't quite ready to build production cars. The dealer took it back as a trade towards a 2013 Spider. The 2013 was much better than the 2012 but my previous experience had soured my ownership experience. I planned on trading it when I found the right car or when the warranty expired.

I had the pleasure of driving a GT3 and a RS and decided that I needed to be back in the Porsche world. I have been patiently waiting for RS prices to be more reasonable and felt that now was the time to jump in. There are 70+ cars on sale on Cars.com. I was able to get a fair deal on the CPO'ed RS and finalized the deal last week.

The car finally arrived Saturday. My initial thoughts are: Holy Crap - this thing is AMAZING. It is a significant improvement over the 997.1. The steering feel, the DCT the way it changes directions and rotates is just amazing. Add to that the piece of mind that its a Porsche and has bullet proof reliability is nice. Anyways I will stop rambling and post some pics.

Ritesh.

I don’t think haku ever went fast enough for any bugs to even die upon impact, so you’re basically getting a new car,

Kidding aside, Congrats on the new purchase, that lava red RS was the prettiest of the bunch at Smokies...

I would buy Mayur's ex-car any day. He treats them much better than Sean does. Enjoy!

Congratulations Ritesh!!!
I'm thrilled the car has found an owner that I know will appreciate it. Bring it to the Smokies Spring event where I can once again drool over it.
Enjoy it!
