Interesting. Did you get a price for the option (i.e., does this motor add $1MM to the price with a base engine)? Or is the car that comes with this motor further developed from past Singer models as well (more Williams parts and lightening)?

Interesting that one can buy ELEVEN new GT3's for that money...

I'd consider buying this motor in a crate for $100k, but not for $1MM...

I would like to retract my statement as I don't want it to be basis for rumors. My statement was based on convos with 3rd parties that funding the inventory for the extensive build period for each vehicle, has become difficult.. and that the # of customers for $600k 911's isn't infinite. they make very little margin on each car as the man hours involved and quality of parts are both high.

This is probably the reason for their new watch and other corollary projects. Margin. We can surmise that at $1.6m (I didn't get to find out if the engine can be sold without the car or if the car has other mods) that there is some serious fat built in... as there should be!!!

We want small specialty manufacturers like this to exist and thrive. I wish Singer all the best, they are true gearheads and visionaries. I didn't mean to cast shade on them in any way.

Williams don't build f1 engines - their F1 program is really struggling now given they're running an AMG power unit, which is clearly the best available.

If only Singer had partnered with Adrian Newey for body panel design, McLaren for carbon part manufacturering...

Not really sure who has the best air cooled capability, but I wouldn't expect it to be Williams. Only link they have is the Martini livery...

Quick Reply: The GT3 should have stayed manual AND air-cooled
