Some additional pictures from the delivery day. Drove my GT3.1 to the dealer to pick up my GT3.2.
Anyone in the market in Europe for an extremely well maintained .1?

Being in Europe I don't hear anything about delays to deliveries in the USA. My car was late 3 weeks due to availability of the folding buckets. I believe Bccars car was delayed for the same reason. But AFAIK these seats are not available in the US so I have no idea what the cause for the delays might be.

Yes indeed, same region as Chris. Was in the same boat too regarding the European delay. No info on the US delay either.

Two sets of impressions - on track and on road
On track.
I spent a some time in one on track at Spa (not my car, a factory car) during the Masters course last month where:
On Road
Did a small 200km road trip in my car on the weekend
And lastly, man o man, the number of looks I got and photos taken. I had 4 carspotters jump out in front of the car to take photos.....nearly knocked one over. They definitely knew it was 4.0. Got the imperession that there is high level of interest/excitement about this car out there.
In short, it's sensational!
On track.
I spent a some time in one on track at Spa (not my car, a factory car) during the Masters course last month where:
- it was faster, pulling almost 10kph more by the time you hit the end of Kemmel straight as the rate of acceleration does not taper off like the .2
- it felt stiffer, grippier and sat flatter in the corners possibly due to next gen Cup 2 tires.
- turn in is definitely better and the car rotates a lot easier. Any sniff of understeer that the .1 might have had is gooooone.
On Road
Did a small 200km road trip in my car on the weekend
- rides amazing well. much better than .1
- noisier than .1 due to less sound deadening material
- exhaust is louder, deeper, angrier. No need for aftermarket pipes anymore!
- nice loud induction noise on initial throttle like it's taking a big, deep breath
- much torquier. pulls lower gears much easier and stays in 7th in situations where it would normally have kicked down to 6th
- noticed that the doors now close with a deeper more satisfying thunk.
- turns in better. it just goes where you point it
- it definitely feels quicker at lower revs. no need to rev it as high to get some serious mumbo
- satnav etc muuuch better. At last real time traffic!
- was a bit worried about the folding bucket seats but they are more comfy than the 8way sofas I have in the .1
- i need to check but 7th gear felt shorter. it seems to be reving a bit higher for any given speed than I remembered in my .1 and I just got out of it the day before
