Final details for my delivery coming up next week in Leipzig- we leave Friday and pickup on Tuesday! What a long journey it's been.
Schedule:
Berlin
Leipzig
Creasigns for PPF while we spend a day in Hamburg
Hallstat, Austria for three days- visit Gmund and other places
Italy Dolomites two days
Open (not sure! maybe Interlaken)
Provence, France- French Riviera Stuttgart Drop-off and home
Two weeks (I'll create a delivery blog)- should be a blast. No, not visiting any racetracks- only tracking I'll do is in Leipzig with Porsche's cars. I do enough racing during the year and as much as I want to see the tracks in Europe, my car won't be tracked so I'll leave that for another visit.
One week to go!!
I recommend that if you are planning on staying overnight prior to dropoff that you do so in Stuttgart and not Sindelfigen ... its pretty dead there ... the dropoff location is about a 10 minute walk to the S-Bahn station
where you can catch the S60 back into the city (50 minutes journey every 30 mins weekdays) and that train actually stops at the PorschePlatz right next to the museum if you want to stop off and take a tour.
Congrats and great choice! Here's an inside shot. LWB and not much else. Did you bring the green inside?
FYI all the Eurospec LWBs dont have those little "cushions" between the backrest and headrest - apparently (based on the number of euro owners who came up to me at the Ring) they are a highly desirable modification!

Interesting... had the same on my GT4 and read about lots of guys taking it off...not sure why. I think the GT3 center cushion is softer than the GT4.

Thanks- our flight is the next morning- we are taking down to the wire! So we are staying by the airport.

Oh that would have been a good idea, but flying out of Stuttgart!
