seriously though, the full black is noticeably the darkest, but the PDLS looks closer in darkness to the full black than it does to the lightness of the non PDLS headlights, from either a front or 3/4 view.
Here's an example pic that captures how light I feel the PDLS looks in person due to the chrome:

Still boggles me that Porsche calls the HID's "bi-xenon" when the high beams are halogen, making them NOT bi-xenon.
