Default 991 GT3 COG Update

I wanted to provide an update on our efforts. First, we are busy preparing for our meeting with Porsche on August 3rd. We've already held one meeting internally, with a second one planned for next Thursday.

Statistics:

1. We now have over 250 owners from 20 countries, including:

- Australia
- Canada
- Denmark
- England
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Hong Kong
- Italy
- Netherlands
- New Zealand
- Poland
- Saudi Arabia
- South Africa
- South Korea
- Spain
- Sweden
- Thailand
- United Arab Emirates
- United States

2. GT3 RS owners comprise 18% of our group.

3. GT3 owners by model year:

- 2014 (33%)
- 2015 (58%)
- 2016 (9%)

Meeting Delegation:

We have held our first internal meeting with members who will be participating in the August 3rd meeting with Porsche. The following people will be in Atlanta:

Ed Jenkins
Ed is President of the Pacific Northwest Region of the PCA as well as National DE instructor and driver skills instructor. Ed owns a 2015 GT3.

Sean Groer
Most of you know Sean, who organizes the popular Smokies event each year (along with Mayur). Sean owns a 2016 GT3 RS.

Carmen DeVito
Carmen is a PCA National DE instructor, and has a background in Mechanical Engineering. Carmen also has the distinction of being the only member of our group to experience this finger follower issue first hand. Carmen owns a 2015 GT3.

Dave Lodigensky
Dave has been instrumental in helping Rob put together the team and craft the overall message. Dave owns a 2016 GT3 RS.

Rob Carr
Rob owns a 2015 GT3 and started the COG.

I think it is safe to say that current and future owners of the 991.1 GT3 will be well represented in Atlanta!

Charity Fundraising:

In lieu of donations to cover our travel expenses, we have asked that donations be made to help the victims of the Manchester attacks. We set a goal of $5,000, which was based on estimated travel expenses of $1,000 per attendee. I am very happy to report that we have met our goal a month ahead of schedule.

To those who donated, thank you very much! If you still have not donated, please make a donation here:

Add Your Name:

Our group has grown quite rapidly, but that shouldn't stop you from adding your name to the cause. To be added to the Concerned Owners Group, please email me your first name, last initial and city, state/country and model year. Please email your information to 991gt3concernedownersgroup@gmail.com.

Note: We will NOT be sharing any personal information with Porsche, only meta data such as number of users, countries involved, etc.

Had the privilege to spend some time with Carmen at Sebring, he is most accomplish and accordingly particular fellow having spent his
Professional career in engineering; I believe he will be a major asset to the cause.

Credit goes to Rob. He has worked tirelessly to put the group together and keep the direction productive and civil. What he has accomplished to date is impressive. He truly has the community's best interests at heart.

Never heard that name belong to a man before, so learned something new today. Thx. Good luck with that meeting. Hopefully something positive will come out of it.

It worked. I had mistakenly copied the dot at the end of the email address.
