Default 991 GT3 Times for Road America running Hoosiers

Does anyone have times for a 991 GT3 at Road America running Hoosiers? I was able to hit a 2:29. My instructor got a 2:23. Just curious what other people have done there. I have data / video from the runs if anyone is interested.

Just a thought:
If your instructor is 7 seconds faster, you will save money and learn more with plain r comp street tires. There should only be a 2-3 second differential between cup2 and Hoosiers, so there is more time in technique than tire.

Thanks, but your response is OT. BTW Hoosiers are the same price as the Sport Cup 2's. I already went through one set of the Michelins.

I am quite aware that technique is more important than spending money on tires.

2:23 sounds about right, I did 2:26 in a 997RS on Toyo's.
A couple or 2-3 seconds for R7 and another couple seconds due to PDK and RWS is what I would shoot for, so call it 2:21-2:22.

Spend some $ on a pro coach. Will make you faster than tires.

We did consistent 2:29 with a GT4 on used Hoosiers.
Like people above said, the difference in tires (Hoosiers vs MPSC2) at RA should only be 2-3 s.

2-3 seconds is quite significant. Yes, I think everyone agrees that more track time and instruction will equate to faster times. But if you can pick up 2-3 seconds in addition to the extra trackwork and you need tires anyway, then heck yeah, I'm going for the faster tires being that they're the same price. That being said, to the OP, yes they may be the same price, but to my knowledge Hoosiers don't last as long, so you'll have to factor that into the cost and whether that is worth the extra 2-3 seconds to you.
