i have a GTS currently and those are the BLACK PDLS

which are NOT offered currently on the GT3

this was confirmed by the dealer when i ordered my GT3

well according to the configurator the GTS lights are exactly the same as the GT3 non LED when adding PDLS, I am talking about from picture and not from description

i am not saying i am right and your dealer is wrong but there are many times / examples when the dealer does not give the most accurate info

according to the configurator images both 2d and 3d they are exactly the same

Wouldn't trust configurator pictures at this point.

Ordering a new GT3 manual

Hi everyone, I need an advise for ordering the new GT3: I am a manual guy and will drive mostly for pleasure of driving and no track for me. I also have a bad back which i dont enjoy too much of stiffness. Should I get the normal seats? or Bucket? Roll Cage which i find it ugly? and last but not least is the height adjustment option for the GT3 good to have....appreciate your comments and experiences. Many Thanks.

Your back may not like getting in and out with buckets.

No cage
No on the buckets
Yes on the front lift

With your back issue, get the 18 way sofa's. Best of luck in your pursuit of a MT.

kamijamali 03-19-2017 10:40 AM

Thanks everyone....appreciate the comments....agree totally on the 18 way seats and no cage for me as I feel it will make it even more stiff. I ordered metallic white with black rims and red accents. Not a big fan of black rims but when i saw it in geneva motor show...I guess its the new gt3 rim color...

kamijamali 03-19-2017 10:45 AM

With red accent I mean the sticking inside...

Stitching  Got it. Will be a great looking car. White/Black with red accents will be nice. Consider the black wheels with red stripe too. Will match the brake calipers as well.

In what country? How is availability from your dealers?

kamijamali 03-19-2017 10:55 AM

This is for Geneva....they are not sure yet....ordered it second day of the show and I was already number 51! But the first to order Manual! They are saying production for manual will start august and probably I can have it by earliest in November.

But the List for Manual is not yet opened and the actual price is not yet announced.

Nick 03-19-2017 11:01 AM

Isn't the factory closed in August? Also, you say your number 51 to order the car, how can they give you a November delivery date?

STG 03-19-2017 11:01 AM

Another forum member in Germany said that he was the first want manual at his dealer too. Manual demand that low in Europe?

STG 03-19-2017 11:04 AM

I think he was given that information seeing that he supposedly is the first one to want a manual.

Nick 03-19-2017 11:17 AM

That would be interesting to know. Out of 51 orders, only one MT order? If correct, Porsche may have over estimated the MT demand.
