No pressure Andy. But I also just picked up an RS. It is a 2011 though. LOL

Have a great holiday and look forward to seeing you in the spring.

Excellent! That's a beautiful car. A part of me misses my 2011 GT3 with that beautiful sounding engine. You're going to love that thing. See you soon.

Thanks, Phil. Looking forward to seeing you, too, with the final graphics on your new RS.

There is another white RS available at Porsche of Arlington In Virginia. Apparently they won it for their November sales. It will be here before Saturday.

There is a premium you guys can ask them how much. Good luck!

They are taking bids and going to sell it to the highest bidder. Not a fan of that process and not a good way to build relationships, but to each their own.

They should throw it up on Ebay then. Dumb dealer.

I am sure Porsche would love to see the car on Ebay. I guess I am an idiot but why not sell it at current market price to a good client.

Exactly or make someone add a Panam or Cayenne to the sales ticket.

Porsche must not have a sales territory - they make up these oh we just got one story to justify their mark up.

It has turned me off of the brand and local dealer who is doing the same thing.

Buy a lot of Ford's and feel the same way about the GT350R 50% premium won't even go into the Ford GT bs resume.

It's basically the same thing without the Ebay listing. Just set a freaking mark-up and sell the car like a normal dealer. PCNA should take the car away from these idiots and give it to a dealer who won't be auctioning the car off and sell it to a good local customer.

Maybe a little birdie should let PCNA know that they are taking bids for the car.

So I agree. I don't think they are about relationships and they make no bones about it. A bunch of people here have purchased cars from them because they have the car. They are high volume enough that they seem to get the allocation and cars.

I only posted it because for all the naysayers there is usually someone here wanting it bad enough I was in that spot 6 months ago.

And apparently pcna doesn't care. I think if anyone here thinks telling pcna will make a difference it won't. Pcna found out they sold it to me at a premium and they didn't care about the premium, they only cared that us on the forums have been talking about it.

I tend to think PCNA and PAG are enjoying the good economy and selling cars, in a good economy they don't need to "build relationships". PAG produces a good product that punches above its price point AND they create a feeling of rarity which keeps the prices up. Most of the dealers are complicit as are most of the 918 owners and you end up with a bidders market.

I don't have to like it, but I certainly understand it.

In this economy I think PCNA believes almost any discussion here on the forum is good.

Discussion of GT3RS price too high = good, indicates rarity and scarcity

What makes you think PCNA doesn't know?

I agree and I don't think PCNA cares...they gotta pay for dieselgate.

My local dealer at one point had 6 GT3RS sitting on the showroom floor...all at well over MSRP.

I happily bought a TTS at 7% off sticker and haven't looked back since.

As I have said time and time again. These are not rare cars, there is no shortage, the dealers conspired to keep prices artificially high:
