Default Need help - exhaust options are confusing

Need an exhaust for incoming gt3rs and have no idea what to do

I want the car to sound more exciting on starts, and when pushing it. I want the valves and more subdued with exhaust button off.

What do I buy?

1- bypass - what brand sounds best?
2- headers?
3- side delete or rear delete?
4- straight pipe too loud and power loss
5- what are the prices between brands?

I don't track and more power not a must
Any help would be appreciated

I would do just the center muffler by pass pipe, I have tried shark werks and was disappointed, I currently run the GMG pipe and can not be happier!

I have the CMS bypass on my RS and it's the best I have heard. Have tried sharkwerks on the RS and GT3 as well as a GMG on my GT3.

Everything is very subjective. It is best to find enthusiast near you and hear them in person as the internet mics can only pickup so much sound. What is best for you may be not for the next person. You should also look into the headers from Dundon, that also opens up the sound without changing the exhaust components.

Agree with the above post. I have SW first was my 15 GT3 now my RS right tone for me and not too crazy. Good luck.

Center or side muffler delete? For me it was side muffler delete with valves, here's why. Aero work Porsche has done for downforce has to be worth something, opening that up for a center muffler may change that. Side muffler delete removes 35 lbs from behind the rear axle as well as removes the heat sinks that are the side mufflers from the rear tires, better sound, less weight and heat and still keep aero as designed.

My RS is on the way too. I ordered the catted Dundon headers. A big plus that there is no drone. The added power should be nice too. I also appreciate the amount of info they provide and the customer service is great! It seems like they really put a lot of effort into R&D and are completely transparent. I chose the catted system due to emissions and don't want the smell of gas, I also think that if there are any warranty issues, I will be better of with a catted system.
No affiliation, just my .2 cents and can say for sure that it was a very pleasant and supportive purchase.

Dundon race headers all the way. I thought my center bypass sounded good until I swapped to DMS

Start with a muffler delete first, I would highly recommend SW. If you have a chance to buy these used, definitely go for it since in case you are not happy you can resell for the same price. I purchased GMG first, I know a lot of people praise it but it was just way too loud and not in a good way, completely changed the exhaust tone and made it sound like a muscle car. I ordered a SW the second day I had GMG. With SW you still keep the same exhaust tone but its' very amplified, it's pretty loud.

I can attest with the SW. It's not overly loud and maintains that Porsche sound.

I have a TPC side muff delete w/ valves For Sale. I had it on my GT3, and it was better that the rear by-passes I tried. I removed it when I sold the car. Highly recommend this option.
PM me if interested.

there is a reason there are more used shark werks than any other component, think about it
