Tax Credit???- when you trade it they factor that in and you can get the difference on Rennlist. In otherwards- no Dealer is going to pay you what you will get in Private sale

I am the second owner of a 991 GT3 RS. It is in GT Silver with carbon buckets and it have 1300 miles on it now. It is fully loaded with PCCB, front lift, LEDs, leather interior, extended range fuel tank etc. 210k MSRP. I am thinking of trading it in for a 488 GTB or 458 Speciale. What do you guys think is a fair trade in value for my car? Thanks.
2. if you are TRADING, the dealer wont offer more than msrp.

Sell it privately and tell the dealer you'll give them $1,000 to do a trade and sell.....you get the tax credit and the dealer makes $1,000.....tell them its contingent on you buying the car from them.....

Guys, I did receive offers for over MSRP. How much do you guys think is the value of the Speciale? Markets seemed to have softened. Ferrari sales person told me that he is seeing cars that is asking for 30K over MSRP. I also saw decently equipped 2015 cars below 1000 miles listed at 40K over.
How is the value of higher mileage cars (5000-10000 mile car) compared to lower mileage cars?

I really liked the RS. The RS is a really emotional car and I guess the only car that I had driven that is more 'emotional' than the RS is the 430 Scuderia. Never driven a 458 Speciale, however I hope my swap will not be a mistake, haha.

The 458 Speciale is an AWESOME machine. You will find it more emotional than the 991 GT cars. I'm very very jealous. Here the price for Speciale is still stupid - I have hoped I could get into one when they depreciated but instead they have gone up!

If it's an itch you have to scratch (Ferrari) then do it, it will be fun, life is short. You can always trade the 458 in on .2 RS. Would hesitate on 488 unless you'll keep it 7 years or so. If you're likely to trade out again in 24-36 months, get the 458, will be easier to sell.

Good friend of mine that is a big Ferrari/Porsche guy was pretty underwhelmed by the 458S. He only kept it for 4 or 5 months - it was his 40th or so new Ferrari, so I put a lot of stock in his opinion. He loved his F12, 991 RS and 4.0 however.
