I'm still looking to buy one as a daily driver. Spoke to two dealers over the last few days regarding their pricing. They both said that they're not going to go lower because there will always be someone dumb enough to pay it. Then they get on here and pretend to care about how we feel? Or what we want from a dealer experience? Are you kidding me already...

Clearly the inventory is growing, and the prices are all over the map.

There isn't a Porsche dealership on the planet that 'has' to sell their RS's. The owners could wipe their asses with the titles, toss a Molotov cocktail in the front seat and it wouldn't have any impact on their business. This is pocket change money to them and I'm sure none of them are sweating it.

The cargurus link above got me thinking. Their model is based on highlighting "good deals" based on their formula for determining market price for a car. Soooo, this made me laugh. Good Deal at $50k over!

I would say that the GT3RS market is fixed. There are not more ppl entering that market anymore than there are ppl leaving the market to buy something else.
Paying over MSRP will push the car up against new competition and will certainly hurt its business. There are plenty of F cars that can be bought for $270k+.
The whole point originally of the GT3 RS was it was fighting and winning in a higher weight class that is not the fact at $50-100k over MSRP.

Used RS is still being wholesaled at anywhere between 45-60K over sticker, depending on color and miles. My dealer just sold a lightly optioned brand new RS (with steel brakes) for 85K over sticker. The market is still very strong for these cars. GT4s are being sold at 10-20k over sticker all day long.

Market seems to be in the 225-240k out the door.
