My 2016 RS -- Vanilla RScream with CXX Toppings
It's a tough act to follow other GT3RS forum members with quality delivery threads like:
- TraKCar’s and FJ Seattle’s Euro Delivery,
- JCBH’s, MrSullivan’s, AC Satco, MoeGT3, and Jon70’s mean green machines
- Kobalt’s Great White
- Derek RS’s Lava
- Mooty’s Mango,.. so on and so forth.
So many great builds and fun threads.
My timeline for the acquisition of this No Diet RS went as follows:
- Allocation received- Dec 2015
- Submitted Build- Feb/Mar 2016
- Vehicle completion – June 2016 planned but delayed to July 2016 due to CXX
- Arrived at Dealership & Delivered – July 2016
Special shout outs to Porsche of Beachwood – Steven Youhana (Sales Ambassador) and Phil Snyder (GM). Some of the best guys to deal with… And Porsche Exclusive's Melissa Witek. This build was probably one of her last during her tenure at Porsche. I am thankful for their attention to each detail and help to ensure no item was left missing for a complete build personalized for me. Melissa and Steven-- if you are lurking on here... Much Thanks!
Given my years of Porsche ownership in a plethora of jellybean colors, I am probably one of the few that still would’ve ordered white even if PTS was an open and available option during my spec. White appealed to me most and I decided to “complete” this car with stitching everything and a splash of yellow to coordinate against the white/black.
