This beautifully-crafted all carbon fiber piece is designed to reduce underbody lift and increase front-end grip. Using computational fluid dynamics, they have integrated an aerodynamic splitter that creates a high-pressure region of air atop the protruding surface, reducing lift and increasing net downforce.
The result is increased front-end grip particularly in medium- and high-speed cornering. As importantly (or more so, depending on your priorities!) it looks absolutely phenomenal! Wow. That's great looking but I replace my splitters all the time due to cosmetic wear. Better have axle lift and be a garage queen for this mod!

Yes sir. It has a little flex from being mounted to the bumper but the actual piece is rigid. They do come with aluminum wear strips on the bottom for protection but you should expect that it will rub more often then oem given the reduction in clearance.
