Default Porsche Motorsports release pictures of their 2017 911 GTE Pro contender....

It refuse to acknowledge if the car has a turbo charged power plant or real ease pictures of the rear of the car....could it be that they are using a boosted engine?

Is it turbo is definitely the big question here. Also, has the engine been moved wayyyyy forward.

So what's the point of releasing a picture if no technical details are disclosed...? End of the year? We're in May...

They were very coy about the motor. AND it has taken over a year of development for the car. I'm betting on turbo.

That's my take on it too at this stage. If so will be interesting if this heralds the end if the NA GT road car era with the 991.2 GT3....

"The big events in GTE are the Le Mans 24 Hours and the WEC and IMSA series, and if you build a new car, you want to race it in the most important races and series," he said."

Time for IMSA and PWC to merge series.....

IMO, the beginning of the end was when they decided to move away from a rear engined 911. Turbo vs NA seems like a minor point vs that...

not Porsche is following the competition. regulations are adjusted for Porsche.
