It will be interesting to see how many of people in the "no if AWD" camp will change their minds if the car is actually released as such. I personally predict (and selfishly hope for) an electric motor on the front axle so we can experience 918-style gut wrenching acceleration/traction.
It would definitely close the performance gap with the 488/675LT.
If it is 700 HP and they get chassis and suspension sorted to keep it on the road/track then I think it will surely get very close if not exceed the performance of the 675LT. This is good as Mac will then have to make sure the upcoming P14 really lifts its game. You'll soon need at least 600HP to be able to call it a "sports" car!!
