OK, I'll be the first to ask - what color blue is that? :D

911turbos 03-09-2016 02:11 PM

Hopefully they build it AWD would be nice. 700HP is outstanding.

Heresy! Heck no! then it wouldn't be THE Widowmaker. Right? That's what I'm going with.. less is more.

TRAKCAR 03-09-2016 02:28 PM

AWD I'm out.

Jooyoung99 03-09-2016 02:50 PM

What if it's 600 hp to the rear wheels and 150 hp electric motor to the front with combined output of 700 hp?

That's the only AWD I would take.

I hope they use the iconic GT2 wing with the pointed down tips and huge ass air scoops.

Or INTHWALL

Nizer 03-09-2016 03:48 PM

I was never in but if it had AWD i'd be out too. :o

It will be interesting to see how many of people in the "no if AWD" camp will change their minds if the car is actually released as such. I personally predict (and selfishly hope for) an electric motor on the front axle so we can experience 918-style gut wrenching acceleration/traction.

It would definitely close the performance gap with the 488/675LT.

If it is 700 HP and they get chassis and suspension sorted to keep it on the road/track then I think it will surely get very close if not exceed the performance of the 675LT. This is good as Mac will then have to make sure the upcoming P14 really lifts its game. You'll soon need at least 600HP to be able to call it a "sports" car!! :D
