Porsche 991 GT3 with no wing
Stealth GT3?
From the article:
One of the most important defining features of a GT3 Porsche is the large wing at the back. But there is a new trend going on in which the owner opt for deleting that wing, turning their Porsche 991 GT3 into something that can only be described as a Carrera with a bad genetic mutation.

Race Director
There was a post like a year ago about a guy in Los Angeles that did this. There were even pictures on here. Needless to say, it didn't go over very well with this crowd

Three Wheelin'
There are 3-4 of them that have been floating around for some time done by owners and I think one was done on special request at factory....now everyone thinks they are factory 911R test mules?

With a ducktail, it would probably look pretty amazing.
Yes, the massive f**king wing is functional. But, a tad unnecessary when driven on the street.

I do think a GT3 without a wing is not a GT3 design wise. Performance wise I agree street driving with that wing is probably overkill. Now it is the owner's money so he can do whatever he wants. I wouldn't. One reason I would buy a GT3 is its styling and racing pedigree and that wing is part of it.

Considering the insignificant amount of downforce the standard OEM GT3 Wing makes, I would doubt that removing it would ever be noticeable by the driver.
It would obviously give a far clearer view through the rear window. So it boils down to considering it as a design element only.
