Dunlops OK if you cant get MPSC2 but I prefer MPSC2 because you are left with a good tire to drive home in the rain. The Dunlops are maybe a little slower and the fronts couldn't take the heat I think, it was chunking weird in the center of the thread of the front tires.

I'm sticking with Michelin!
full disclosure, just got my free set in from Michelin for them using my car in the Michelin photo shoot at Sebring last month

They should give you two sets for cutting the sound of the Porsches.

No need to worry. It gets broadcast multiple times every IMSA race.

This thread is now 3 years old and long, very long.

Many people who help me find dates, routes and hotels have subscribed.
Maybe I should start new?

I still have most of my notes and this thread to help start planning ED with Lizard late this year.
Very excited; It will be a lot of work and taking a lot of time off from real work..

Tons of planning to do again between now and Mid November!

Dec - May, it will be mostly South tracks.

Conceptually, I’m thinking:
Italy, France, Spain, Portugal Dec - March?
April, May, June: Ring, Spa, Zandvoort, UK tracks?

ill start compiling track days in the next few weeks and share with other ED Rennlisters.

My first questions:
What tracks are most likely to be dry for the 4 winter months?
What date did the Ring shut down and re-open last winter?

I am there October 31st to pick up my Lizard as well
I need to sit down and read all 89 pages of this thread.
I am also going with the wife of 25 years, so no man-cation (and no track time )
Wanted to do the Swiss Apl tour, down to Como then onto Monte Carlo, but the time of year won't allow it
Instead we are doing Black forest, Alsace, Munich, Salzburg, Vienna and Prague.
i may PM you for some questions/suggestions, if that's OK?

First leg from Frankfurt airport to Zuffenhausen:

second leg :

Email me.

We shall see what Mrs TRAKCAR allows me to get away with.
We should be celebrating 24th anniversary in Europe looks like, if she doesn’t dump by *** by then.

We had great weather through end of October 2015.
We were on a dry Ring and Hockenheim Oct 22-26.
You should be OK but rainy, not snow if the weather turns.

You’re driving right by the Redbul ring and Saltzburg ring.
Perhaps a quick one lapping day could fit in?
If you find a day it will be one of the last of the season.

i haven’t starting planning or looking for track days but maybe we can get away from the alps and go as far south as we can get..

Going over the alps may be a problem, maybe dry tracks are wishful thinking anywhere DEC-March..
